Hyperdata Technologies (Pty) Ltd was established in 2014 and is a Level 1 B-BBEE Black Woman owned ICT supplier and service provider, primarily operating in South Africa. We also specialise in unique Boutique ICT and Water from Air solutions. We service both the Private Sector and Public Sector.

Hyperwater, a division of Hyperdata Technologies (Pty) Ltd was established in 2016 after extensive research was conducted into Water from Air technology. Hyperwater secured the exclusive distribution rights for Hyperwater – Water from Air technology or Water from Air Solutions in South Africa and Sub-Saharan African Countries.

We are currently focusing on South Africa, but will be rolling out to Sub-Saharan from Quarter 2, 2018. Our product is branded as “Hyperwater, Water from Air Technology”.

Our supplier has successfully manufactured, distributed and serviced this technology over the past 12 years in Asia and Europe. Our Head Office is in Waterkloof-Ridge, Gauteng, South Africa and our distribution warehouse is based in Pretoria with 2 more warehouses in Cape Town and Durban opening in the 2nd quarter of 2018.

WHAT IS A HYPERWATER MACHINE

  • A Hyperwater – Water from Air machine, is a device that extracts water from humid ambient air. Water vapor in the air is condensed by cooling the air below its dew point, exposing the air to desiccants, or pressurizing the air.
  • Unlike a dehumidifier, a Hyperwater – Water from Air machine is designed to render the water potable. Hyperwater machines are useful where pure drinking water is difficult or impossible to obtain, because there is always water in the air that can be extracted.

THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY BEHIND IT

  • When warm humid air is cooled down and meets a cold surface, the water vapour (in the form of a gas) is turned into water droplets. This is a basic everyday process that happens in nature. You can see this everyday as dew drops on leaves or when you have an ice filled drink on a hot day.
  • The water vapour passes through an air filter and hits the condensing coils within the machine. These sophisticated coils allow the water to cool down sufficiently to reach dew point. This converts the water vapour into a liquid state.
  • Once the liquid has been converted, we need to remove all bacteria, algae, yeast and pathogens. This is done through a 3-stage Ultra Violet light sterilization system.
  • The water then is filtrated through a pre-& post carbon filter, reverse osmosis, and eventually a Total Contaminant Removal (TCR) filter. This ensures the water is pure and clean for consumption.
  • Once the water has passed through our Water from Air machine, it is completely safe for drinking.

WHERE CAN THE MACHINES BE USED

  • Our Water from Air solutions even produces in dry environments. Even in South Africa’s Highveld in winter months, the air is still sufficiently humid to extract water.

WHAT WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE REQUIRED

  • To operate at optimum levels, the Water from Air machines need relative humidity of 30% and above. In arid areas, it will often fall below that level during the day, but at night, when the temperature is lower, humidity rises – even in desserts.

  • Harvesting Water from Air is an environmentally friendly alternative and sustainable source of pure, fresh water.
  • The process of harvesting Water from Air is now a reality due to radical technology and filtration developments that have made this process economically viable.
  • At any given moment in time there is 140,000 trillion litres fresh water trapped in the atmosphere as fresh water vapour. {that is 14 with 16 zeros!}

HOW CLEAN AND SAFE IS THE WATER

  • Air to Water has a pH of at least 8.2

In general, water with a pH lower than 7 is considered acidic, and with a pH greater than 7 is considered alkaline.
